Savina Spotlight: Property Specialist Erik Romero Shares Thoughts on New Bosa Project
The newest development in San Diego, Savina by Bosa, is changing the San Diego skyline in more ways than one. The revolutionary downtown San Diego real estate development is leading the city’s building boom by offering an exceptional lifestyle opportunity in one of downtown’s most prime locations. But any successful project requires an incredibly talented team filled with skills and an awareness of the city. We caught up with Savina Property Specialist, Erik Romero, to learn what drew him to the latest development in San Diego and what he loves most about being part of this groundbreaking project.
Erik has lived in downtown San Diego for over 10 years and is thrilled to be part of the amazing community. “In 2006 I became a real estate professional and wanted to be part of the redevelopment. My dream came true in 2017 when I got the opportunity to join the Savina sales team,” said Erik. “As a native, witnessing Savina’s role in the transformation of the Downtown skyline is something we’ve all wished for.”
Nestled in the heart of San Diego, Erik describes the Savina location in Little Italy as the best pocket of downtown. “Savina is walking distance to the Little Italy market, restaurants, shops,” Erik says. “My wife and I like to take our newborn to the Little Italy Mercato Farmers Market on a regular basis. As new parents, we get to interact with our neighbors in a great, fun setting while enjoying the array of treats.” The new father insists the farmers market crepes at Artisan Crêpes are a must-have because they are simply phenomenal.
Erik’s perfect weekend in Little Italy consists of hanging out and enjoying the weather or having a picnic at Waterfront Park, just west of Savina. His go-to lunch spots are Herb and Eatery or the Roma Urban Market, which he swears serves up some of the best pizza and sandwiches in the community. The weekend isn’t complete without a stop at Juniper and Ivy, which according to Erik is “definitely a must-try, super unique, the small plates are great for the whole table. It’s a communal and fun environment.” Erik continues on to say, “it’s one of my favorite restaurants in Little Italy, let alone San Diego.”
As a passionate real estate professional in San Diego, Erik is in awe of the Savina project for many reasons. Between the world-class designer and architect, Hossein Amanat, and the neighboring buildings, Erik explains it’s the functionality and livability that makes Savina a one-of-a-kind residential experience. Other than the luxurious amenities, he’s most enthused about home 3404. “One of my personal favorites,” says Erik, “it’s a very unique floor plan with great square footage and massive walk-in closets, it’s an overall hidden gem.”
Erik is part of the Savina team that is bringing their love for the community and neighborhood knowledge to the forefront to make the redevelopment of downtown San Diego an exciting change. Erik sees the magnificent impact the Bosa Development has and is eager to be a part of the growth and future the modern style real estate San Diego scene has in store.
