Help in Little Italy
With the various mandates, guidelines, and recommendations on social distancing—several local businesses have had to temporarily close their doors. To abide by the new directives from the city and state on the restriction of onsite dining that is changing daily, many businesses and restaurants are still open at this time with altered services like a pickup, curbside delivery, and in-house delivery.
Local businesses will really need your help during this difficult time, so try to support your favorite spots in the neighborhood whenever you’re able to! If you’re tired of making coffee from home and looking for a tasty pick-me-up to start off the day, try giving James Coffee or Caffe Italia a call since they’ll both be available for takeout. Queenstown Public House and Zinque offer delectable bites for breakfast, lunch, and dinner, and both are available for pick-up and delivery. Crack Shack will be open for pick-up and curbside delivery for their one-of-a-kind fried chicken, along with Napizza and Landini’s Pizzeria if you’re craving some delicious ‘za. Authentic Italian restaurants like Monello, Bencotto, Civico 1845, and Davanti Enoteca will all be available for pick-up and delivery during this time. If you’re in the mood for something sweet, try calling Extraordinary Desserts, Salt & Straw or Devil’s Dozen—which are all offering pick-up and delivery.
Stepping a bit away from culinary locations, many other businesses in the district are offering help to the community as well. Remedy Holistic Pharmacy has curbside delivery available and created a page on their website to keep the neighborhood updated with COVID-19—which they hope to edit daily. Blick Art Materials will still be open and Salon Cortez will be enforcing a ‘One Client at a Time’ rule to keep everyone safe and healthy. Bella Woof Spa will still be open for your pooch and are offering curbside pick-up, pay by phone, and curbside check-in for grooming.
These services and hours are subject to change based on new COVID-19 directives since the situation is progressing so quickly, but for now, you can view all the businesses open in Little Italy here.
